What do I bring with me?

While Packing for your trip: You may wish to include the following:

• Comfortable walking shoes!
• Hats, visors, and especially sunglasses
• Lightweight raincoat or poncho for potential rain showers
• Swimsuits for going to the Beaches, Water Parks or swimming
  in the Villas Private Pool.
• Personal appliances run on 110/115-volt, 60 cycle so you may need to purchase an adapter.
• Casual attire is acceptable at most restaurants and attractions. But proper attire at the finer restaurants should not be forgotten.
• Sun screen or suntan lotion for our many sunny days!
• Map of the region.
• Camera and film equipment, capture those memories on film
• Emergency or contact phone numbers for back home

Amenities inside the Villas include:

We also provide coat hangers in each closet, bed linen, plenty of bath and pool towels, a first aid kit, smoke detectors and a fire extinguishers.

There is a seperate laundry room off the kitchen, which has a washing machine and tumble-dryer. An ironing board and iron are also provided

What will the weather be like?
While we can't exactly predict what the weather will be like for your stay in Orlando, we do however have a pretty clear idea of how the weather will be for any period, based on the monthly averages kindly provided by the Weather Channel.

Please note that, because of the sub-tropical nature of Florida's climate, rainstorms can be sudden and heavy. So in the peak months of rainfall (June through September), rain typically falls daily in the afternoon for a short period before clearing to give superb weather.

When should I take pool heat?
We recommend that pool heat is chosen (if you intend to use the pool or Spa) between October and May. The Pool heater is preset to the desired temperature (normally around 85 degrees) and cannot be adjusted.

The charges for this service are shown on the individual ‘prices' page as pool heat is not inclusive and is only offered as an option on any of our homes.

While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may (occasionally) affect the temperature of the pool.

Is Maid Service included?
Our home is rented to guests on a "self-catering" basis. Each property is cleaned and inspected prior to arrival, and on departure of every guest party. For your convenience and hygiene, each home is provided with a vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, mop, brush and pan for maintaining the property cleanliness during your stay. St. Andrews is treated regularly for insects, and the pool is treated to maintain its cleanliness.

Some guests that stay for a longer period (over 14 days) request a mid-term clean, which can be arranged in advance through our management company for a standard fee.

Final payment of all rentals, options, and taxes are due 12 weeks prior to the arrival date.

How close is the property to Disney?
Formosa Gardens Estate is one the closest vacation rental communities to Disney with Disney’s Animal Kingdom being just 3 miles away (less than an easy 10 minute drive). All the other Disney attractions and Water parks are also very close by and are easily reached with well signposted roads.

Is there a phone at the property?
Our home is equipped with at least one phone with an answer machine for outgoing and incoming calls. Prior to your arrival we will provide the telephone number of the house for your use.

The telephone is located in the Kitchen. Local calls are free but we recommend you buy a phone card for long distance calls.

A computer with free high speed Internet connection is also available and the access is provided by Satellite.

How do I make a booking ?

How do I find St Andrews villa.

Directions from Orlando and Sanford Airports:
Follow the signs for the GREENWAY route 417 South (Toll Road you will need 2 x $1 bills and 50 cents in coins) Come off the 417 at Exit 2 signposted Celebration and the 192. After the exit tollbooth turn right at the lights sign posted 192. At the next set of lights move over to the left lane and turn left onto the 192 headed West.

Follow the 192 West counting down the 'MARKERS' until you get to mile marker number 5. At the next set of lights move into the left lane and turn left onto Formosa Gardens Boulevard. As you turn onto Formosa Gardens Boulevard you will see the large ornamental double headed dragons that mark the entrance to 'Florida Splendid China'. Follow Formosa Gardens Boulevard to its end at the crossroads just past the entrance to Splendid China. Go straight across the X road onto Sand Hill Road. Turn almost immediately left into Formosa Gardens Estates. (The name is clearly written on the entrance wall).

For security reasons the home locations together with the key and alarm codes will only be disclosed to you after your full balance of account has been paid.

Will I be able to smoke on my stay at the Villa?
We operate a no-smoking policy inside all the villas and therefore ask to respect our wishes.
